Disneyland’s hotels are an experience in itself. All of them are designed and know how to make you think that you are in a completely different place. Besides, they are some of the best hotels in the world. I promise you, everything you need will just happen. The fastest check-in I’ve had in the world, for example, was at Disneyland Paris hotels (one minute on the clock, I’m serious). I’ve been to Disneyland Paris 4 times, once at a partner hotel and three official Disney hotels, and I’ve found that each one has its strengths. Here are some things you should know about the hotels in Disneyland Paris:
In this post:
Why book a Disney hotel?
First of all, the experience. The magic of Disneyland will start from the moment you wake up and continue until you close your eyes.
Plus, it’s the most comfortable there is. You will be within walking distance to the parks, which is significant. You will be able to return to the hotel very quickly during the rush hour at the end of the day, or rest and gain energy during the rush hour in the afternoon. It sounds unnecessary, but if you want to take advantage of the less busy hours of the morning and night, it’s really important. Everyone says before the trip “there’s no way I’m going to sleep in a room in the middle of a Disney day”, and on the second day in the park everyone wants to do it…
Perhaps the most significant is the magic hours – the first hour of the park, when it is open only to guests of the hotel.

Is it not really expensive?
So the truth is – it’s not very expensive, sometimes it’s even cheaper than other options, and it’s definitely worth the money.
We chose an arbitrary date (outside the peak season, it’s important to note) and checked prices. Two nights at the Santa Fe hotel at Disneyland (including park tickets for three days) will cost 520 euros for two adults. In contrast, only the park tickets for those days will cost 400 euros (three days, two people). Along with a cheap Airbnb apartment that will cost 200-300 euros for two nights, the alternative is 500-600 euros for two people. We didn’t take into account additional expenses such as transportation to the park that you would save on. In short, in this case, the Disney hotel turned out to be cheaper. It’s important to note that we didn’t choose the cheapest Disney hotel, but rather one that we stayed at and liked.
A full day at Disney can be exhausting. Even if you are in great shape, after a day and a half at the park, you will be worn out. The ability to go back to the hotel room, take a shower, and refresh during the busy afternoon hours will allow you to recharge and return to the park during the lighter hours. Add to that the travel time (which can cost more money) and the Magic hours – and you get that in two days with a Disney hotel, you can do as much as in three with an Airbnb.
I must say that there is an option in between, and it is the partner hotels, meaning hotels that are in an agreement with Disney, and usually also include the price of the tickets in the room (if booked through the Disney website). You will get a hotel with a shuttle to the park (although it tends to be less frequent or not frequent enough), but with a little less of the atmosphere, magic, and efficiency of Disney. Personally, after experiencing both, I choose to only return to Disney hotels. It’s not that partner hotels are not good, but it’s a completely different experience.
What are the differences between the hotels?
The differences between them are the distance from the park, luxury and price of course. The closer the hotel is to the park, the more luxurious it is. What does luxury mean? The size of the room, the space it has, the design of the rooms and spaces, the size of the bathroom and the toilet, and there are differences even in the size of the sink… some of it is significant, some less so.
They all have a few things in common:
- If you order through the Disneyland website or at the call center, you will receive the park tickets included in the price. The tickets are from the day of arrival until the day of departure.
- The Magic Hours. This is a time after the opening when the park is only open to hotel guests, so the queues are shorter.
- All of them (except the last two on the list) are within walking distance of the park. Some are a minute’s walk, some are fifteen minutes.
- They all have large and comfortable beds, bathtubs with toiletries.
- From all of them (unless otherwise stated) there is a shuttle to enter the park.
- They all have beautiful souvenir shops, including special items that are hard to find in the rest of the park.
- All are designed and meet Disney’s level and standards.
- In all of them, Disney characters come to take pictures with the guests.
- In all of them, the service is at the level of Disney, and they will do everything to make your trip nothing less than perfect.
Is entrance to the park included in the hotel?
If you book through the official website of Disneyland Paris, then the answer is yes. It is important to know this when checking prices on sites like Booking. Read more about tickets to the park.

Which hotel is best for me?
First of all, it is important to know how much you are willing to invest. Are you a small family that only comes to Disney, or are you a large family that ends a long trip here? Do you want a luxurious room, or do you just need a place to rest at the end of the day? Are your considerations pure functionality, or are the experience and comfort also important to you? Once you know the answers to all these questions, the choice will be relatively easy.
Below the map here we have prepared for you a list of all the Disney hotels, in descending order according to the distance from the parks and their luxury. You should go through it all, check the prices for your dates, and think about what suits you best. You should also use the map to understand where the hotel is located. You can always consult us 🙂
Disneyland Hotel
Currently closed for renovations. It’s a bit sad for us, but it should return in an even more elaborate edition.
A five-star hotel, located at the entrance to the central park. This means that the hotel is literally built above the entrance to the park. That alone makes it an amazing hotel, but it really doesn’t come down to the location. It is truly the most comfortable hotel Disney has, including huge rooms decorated in the style of their classic movies. Think of everything here, from the furniture and accessories to small surprises that will wait for you in the room and more. By the way, the presidential suite of this one is a dream… In short, this might be the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and I’ll be back as soon as it opens. Perhaps needless to say, but since the hotel is at the entrance to the park, there is no need for a shuttle.

A must for fans of Marvel superheroes. We spent most of our last trip there, and we highly recommend it.

This hotel, which is currently the closest to the park, is entirely dedicated to the MCU and designed as if you were in New York. It includes a special room where guests can take pictures with Spider-Man (with almost no queue) and other cool photo positions (for example an upside-down room, which looks like you’re standing on the ceiling), huge statues of the heroes and hundreds of unique Marvel artworks. Plus, it has two really cool bars, including one that looks like it’s on a high Manhattan rooftop, and two restaurants.
Located on the lake near the village. It is currently the closest open hotel to the park, and together with the design and level – this makes it an excellent hotel. Even if you don’t sleep in it, it is highly recommended to take a tour of it.
Disney’s Newport Bay Club
Another high standard hotel, designed in an impressive yacht club style. There are mentions of ships everywhere, at the entrance there is a beautiful lighthouse and it overlooks the great lake. It is not in the style of a specific movie, but of Mickey and Minnie. It also has two restaurants and a yacht-style bar, and is really close to the Village.
The price is a little more convenient, it is an excellent choice for slightly larger families, and it is also located on the lake adjacent to the Village.
Disney Sequoia Lodge
The hotel, which is designed like a national park or a forest in America, manages to offer a completely different atmosphere from the atmosphere of the rest of the park, much calmer. It is surrounded by a huge forest, a hunters restaurant and a bar made of wood with a fireplace. The atmosphere here is really special and very warm. Part of the hotel is very close to the park, part of it is slightly further. Also note that some of the rooms are in the main building, and some in the smaller buildings behind it.
Really recommended!

Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne
A hotel in the style of the wild west, with the cutest cowboy there is – Woody! If you like Toy Story, this hotel is really recommended. Everything here looks like a small town in the wild west, a bit like “frontierland” in the park. The design here is beautiful, and the prices are very affordable. There are great restaurants and bars here and a cool atmosphere, and we totally recommend it. It’s a bit further if you walk, but it also has shuttles.

Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe

A really cool hotel in the style of cars and deserts. It is a slightly more “simple” hotel, but without giving up the charm that all the other Disney hotels have. We were there because of the price, but we discovered that its design is charming (the entrance is amazing, the paths look like small roads, the rooms are really cool). It’s also a bit farther to walk to the park, but it has really fast shuttles.

Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch
It’s a camping-style hotel, which is all large and spacious wooden cabins. The big advantage is that each cabin has a kitchen and beds for 6 people. Please note that it is not within walking distance and there are no shuttles from it, meaning you must have an attached car to get to the parks. If you have a car this could be a good choice.
Villages Nature® Paris by Center Parcs
New holiday village (opened this year). Like Davey Crockett, here too there is no free shuttle to the park, but an additional fee. It is worth noting that you will receive tickets for two days only, regardless of how many days you book the hotel. The idea here is not a hotel designed for the park, but a holiday village that allows you to go to the park part of the time. This can be a very nice vacation, but if you want to dedicate a few days to Disney – maybe you should choose another option.
